1.) Will it work for me? Who can use the oil?

Mama Imara Super Hair Growth Oil Hair is Universal. It works for all hair types, all races, all genders etc. The oil works for natural, permed, relaxed, braided, locked, twisted or colored hair. It works by stimulating growth from the roots and can also be applied on the actual hair itself. Both men and women who are dealing with hair loss can use the oil. Kids can use the oil too.

2.) What are the ingredients?

3.) How do I apply or use it?

Mama Imara Super Growth Hair Oil can be the only hair product that you will ever need. It’s a multi-purpose oil that does a lot more than just grow your hair. You can also use it to condition, detangle and make your hair easier to manage.

Please shake the bottle well before use. Shake it for 15 seconds or for as long as it takes for you to sing one verse of the happy birthday song

Hair Growth: To grow your hair, massage the oil into the scalp for 5 – 10 minutes. Works best as an overnight application. Consistency is everything. Use 3 – 5 times per week to see awesome results. Massaging this oil into the scalp is what really makes your hair grow.

Please shake the bottle well before use. Shake it for 15 seconds or for as long as it takes for you to sing one verse of the happy birthday song

Hair Conditioner: Apply some oil on your hair strands to deep condition, detangle and make your hair softer and easier to manage.

a). If your hair is natural, curly and somewhat thick, your hair and scalp are able to take it in more hair oil, more frequently and can take daily application when it’s dry. You can also use the oil as a pre-shampoo treatment if you want and apply more oil after washing your hair. Too much oil will run down your neck.

b). If your hair is permed or relaxed, or naturally very straight and thin, your hair and scalp can only take a small amount of oil. Too much oil will flatten and weigh your hair down. You have the option of using it as a pre-shampoo, deep-conditioning treatment or using less on your hair while it’s dry. The other option is doing an all-night application and washing it off the next morning.

4.) How soon will I see results?

You will be able to see less hair loss in the first week. Some people have reported hair growth in 2 weeks. I say, give it till the end of your first bottle, which should last about two months. Depending on how often you use your hair oil, you will definitely see length and volume by the end of your first bottle.

5.) How often do I have to wash my hair?

I recommend washing your hair at least once a week. This is what I do but this also depends on the type of hair you have. Ideally, for this oil to work well, it requires open pores and hair follicles and a balanced pH of your scalp. Washing your hair more often helps the oil absorb even better and by cleansing your scalp well, you will maximize the results. If you can’t wash your hair that often, the hair oil will still work. I suggest an Apple Cider Vinegar rinse every so often to assist with removal or build up. The ACV rinse will also help the oil penetrate deeper and repair your hair as well. Click here for a video demonstration with instructions.

6.) I am pregnant, is it safe for me?

All the oils in the ingredient list, except for a small amount of Rosemary Essential oil, are safe to use. For some pregnant women, inhaling or using Rosemary Essential oil may bring about a rise in blood pressure. I’d say, if you’re concerned, wait till after the baby is born. That’s when you will really need the oil, anyway.

7.) Can I use it on my daughter or kids?

All the ingredients in the bottle are safe for both adults and kids. I’ve been using the oil on my daughter Imara since she was 15 months old. Her hair is manageable and growing beautifully. Please test the oil on your hand to see if you have any allergic reactions. Some kids have nut allergies, but so far, I know parents with kids who are nut-intolerant, yet there are able to use the oil. Try a small patch test and see if it works for you.

8.) Are the ingredients safe and FDA-Approved?

The hair oil is a blend of about 15 carrier and essential oils, some infused with botanicals as well as herbal extracts. I infuse these organic herbs in oil myself, in my kitchen for 3 weeks. These herbs include, burdock, nettle, Amla, Horsetail etc.

We get our carrier and essential oils as well as Organic Aloe, from an FDA-Regulated facility/supplier here in the US. As with all natural things, test a little bit on your arm to check if you’re allergic to anything. While reactions are rare, some people with nut allergies may show some reactions.
